Steph graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) in 2008. She completed a rotating internship in emergency, medicine, and surgery at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in Brisbane, then worked in emergency for a further 6 months before realising working crazy hours actually wasn’t for her! Since then she’s found her passion in general practice and loves nothing more than an extended chat about preventive care! Steph has a 10-year-old cat called Salty who loves a hard headbutt and isn’t ashamed to drool a little while he’s doing it, and two beautiful children who ensure she is never quite as well rested as she might like. She has been a WeFo local since 2020 and is relishing the opportunity to work in the heart of her own community for the first time.
